Highest Town in U.S.

This picture was taken in leadville Colorado, the highest city in the U.S. above 10,000 feet. This picture was taken one morning when it stopped snowing on the last day of the snowboarding trip. My favorite part of the photograph is the cloud break at the top of the picture. It appears to lighten the sky. I took this picture with a film camera, so I had to scan the picture in and the photo had problems because of it, so I used that for the better and created a grainular affect with it.

Whoa. Great photograph. The contrast between sun and shade is great, and I love the colors. Simple, yet very beautiful. It looks freezing! The only thing I see as a setback in this picture is the graininess. But you said it yourself that it was film, so you’re forgiven. :)
