Coca-cola for Korea
New York City Street

This picture was also taken on top of the empire state building. I liked this shot because the road that would lead your eyes to the back of the photo. It was a way to move your eyes around the photo.
Reflected Rose

This picture was taken last year with my first year of digital photography. This was probably one of my favorite pictures taken last year. My favorite aspect of the photo is the softened feel of the rose and the water droplets on it.
Ugandan Kids

This picture was also taken of the Ugandan kids while I was in Africa on a medical trip. This shows how most of the kids I saw there dressed appeared. The stickers they are wearing are some that I gave to them, they had nothing else. I just enjoy the picture so much because it depicts the children of Africa.

Highest Town in U.S.

This picture was taken in leadville Colorado, the highest city in the U.S. above 10,000 feet. This picture was taken one morning when it stopped snowing on the last day of the snowboarding trip. My favorite part of the photograph is the cloud break at the top of the picture. It appears to lighten the sky. I took this picture with a film camera, so I had to scan the picture in and the photo had problems because of it, so I used that for the better and created a grainular affect with it.
Close Up Rose

This picture was taken at the studio at school, here at Spain Park High School. For this rose, I took a different approach for the picture than the usual side angle and took an overhead view to show the color and balance the rose created.
Maine's Beach

I took this shot while I was up in bar-harbor Maine. Since the beaches up there in the northeast typically have more rocks, it created a better way to take shots than just the usual wave crashing down. I liked this shot because of how the waves were crashing down over the waves and the motion that they create.
Age Old Truck

This shot was taken not to long ago as I was driving down this old country road. I saw a couple of old cars just sitting there as if in a junkyard. I pulled over and took a could of shots. The persective and framing is my favorite part of the shot.
Wallstreet

This picture was taken while I was on a trip up to the northeast. This is a more typical picture that most people would take when they visited wallstreet, but I enjoyed enjoyed it because everyone could relate back to the shot because of the popularity of the sign and the street.

Trees under Nightened Color

I took this picture on holloween night when it was extremely dark. The camera's exposure took about 32 seconds. It took a long time. The original picture had a hunter green background and the trees appeared black, the camera recorded their shadows. Then I took it into photoshop and played with the levels until the desired result.

Beautiful as Itself

I took this shot in Chatanooga TN at the Aquarium there at the butterfly house there. The shot showed vibrant colors and I really enjoyed the shot. This is one of my more favorite shots that I have.
Crazy Q

I took this shot while I was driving down this road that led to countrysides, very different than the usual bustle of 280. I saw this building on the side of the road and knew it would make a great shot. I really enjoyed this shot, it created a soft lost feeling that only an old building can create. This photo has not been photoshoped in any way beyond becoming monocromatic. I took this later on in the day, so it created shadows around and of the building which helped the shot out alot.
One if by Land, Two if By Sea

This picture was taken in Boston of the old north church. You know the Paul Revere with the British during the American Revolution. I tilted the camera at an angle to show the church shoot through the diagonal. I converted it to black and white.

Digital Coke

This shot was taken at the studio here at Spain Park High School. I enjoyed this shot because of the perspective that the image creates. The diagonal lines that the paper created help move the eyes arounnd the photo. This photo was originally a clear coke bottle with a red coke symbol while resting on red paper. I used a granular affect on the photo and the used, I think, charcoal for the symbol.
Color Bridge Under Black

I took this shot while I was walking around a lake by my house. I liked the perspective that the bridge gives as you view down it. I only wish that there was someone in the vanishing point of the photo. The background was changed to black and white so that the bridge would appear more to reality.
Varitek of the Boston Red Sox

This Picture is nothing special so far a photographer is concerned, I just really enjoy the Boston Red Sox and was excited to get that close to the batters.

Lighted Way Up

This shot was taken of an escalator while I was in chatanooga TN in the aquarium there. I took this shot with an older 3MP camera, so it appeared blurry. I took the photo into photoshop and created an effect to fit with the slight blur. I created a black background to cause the photo to jump a little more.
Older Than Fiction

This is a picture of really old books that I took while I was in the studio here at Spain Park High School. One of the books was from the 1800s. I felt this photo created character because of the age the books present. The shadows within the picture create a neat exposure.
Clouds In the Sky

I took this shot while I was walking around a lake in my neighborhood. I used a blue style polarizer on my camera while I was taking the shot. I took the photo into photoshop and digitalized the clouds to create a more distinct look.

Ugandan Experience

I took this shot while I was in Uganda, Africa on a medical missions trip. This shot shows one of the kids walking through an open field while i a village named Mutungo. I liked this shot because of the motion the child is taking while walking through the field. The contrast between him and the field, the motion he creates move the picture along.
On Top Of The World

I took this shot on top of the Empire State building while I was on a trip to New York City. I tilted the camera with an 18mm lens to gain the tilt look of the photo. I then took it into photoshop, made it monocromatic with some changes. I then curved the photo to cause it to have fisheye view.
